Everything about our MASH Class of '71
We are proposing the creation of our own MASH Class of '71 Loyalty Award for Service.
The MAHSAA Hall of Fame Loyalty Award criteria exclude many of our classmates whom we think have done a great service to our class and the Mechanicsburg community.
We have written protocols and procedures for the Loyalty Award that we think are awesome.
A classmate such as SuAnn Witters Brenner would be a terrific nominee.
We would also like to include all the members of our class in the selection of the awardees.
This award acknowledges individuals who have a history of service to others through outstanding leadership in public service, the church and/or other community endeavors as well as in the Mechanicsburg Area School District [MASD].
To be considered for this award, an individual must be:
A Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School Class of '71 graduate at least 25 years from the year nominated.
Nominated by at least three classmates who graduated from the MASH '71 [no relatives].
Distinguished in his or her life work through dedicated service in any public or community undertaking that improves the welfare of those impacted.
The submission should include summaries which reveal:
A person of integrity and stature that the classmates will agree in awarding this recognition.
This can be established by any or all the following but not limited to these:
A leader demonstrating dedication to community relations and goodwill.
Demonstrates the importance of a MASD education and is loyal to MASHS by alumni involvement in class reunions and other alumni events.
This can be satisfied by any of the following:
An individual may receive this award only once.
Note: Nominators may submit any supporting materials that they think will aid in making the best decision during the selection process.
